Pet Surrender
DOES YOUR PET NEED A NEW HOME?
Our goal is to help animals find (and stay in!) their forever homes—but we know it’s not always possible. We have resources available for individuals who need to surrender their pet or are looking to rehome their animals. We are a limited-intake shelter, so we don’t always have space for surrendered animals. The waiting period for intake can be several weeks.
REHOME A PET
We’ve partnered with Rehome, a do-it-yourself rehoming pet website, to offer a program to help you place your pet from your home directly to another.
SURRENDER A PET
Owners can surrender their adoptable cats and dogs with no fee. There may be a waiting period because of our shelter size and availability. Please be honest with your answers as we will use this information to help match your pet with a new family. To surrender your pet, fill out the appropriate form below.
SURRENDER A LITTER
Owners can surrender their litters (kitten or puppy) with no fee. These programs are called Show me the mommy or Foster to Surrender. We understand that accidental litters happen, we are here to help you care for the litter. We will provide all of the necessary medical and food at no expense to you, until the litter is at least 8 weeks of age and able to come into the shelter.
