Meet Christopher- The little guy with a big heart!

Christopher is a corgi mix who came from another shelter, and like many dogs before him, he arrived carrying fear and uncertainty that no one can fully explain. His past is mostly unknown, but it’s clear that he hasn’t always felt safe in the world.

Christopher is fearful and will need time, patience, and space to begin trusting. He may not be potty trained, and it may be a long time before he feels comfortable being touched. He isn’t a dog who seeks out affection—he’s learned to stay quiet and guarded instead.

But for the right person, Christopher offers something incredibly special. You won’t just be giving him a home—you could be his first real love. The first human who shows him consistency, kindness, and safety. The first person who proves that love can be calm, predictable, and gentle.

His progress will be slow and may be hard to see day to day, but each small step will mean the world to him. Christopher is not broken. He is waiting for someone willing to meet him with patience and compassion, and to show him that he finally belongs.
