Meet PetePete the Brave Little Terrier Mix 💔🐾

This terrier mix came from a hoarding situation, where life was crowded, chaotic, and often overwhelming. In that environment, structure, routine, and individual care were limited. Despite this difficult start, this small survivor has shown quiet resilience and a gentle, watchful spirit.

Because of their past, this terrier mix is shy and still learning how to live in a home. Potty training will be needed, along with patience and consistency, as they adjust to a normal routine. New sounds, people, and environments can be frightening at first, and trust takes time to build.

This dog is also a major flight risk. When scared, their instinct is to flee, so a secure home is essential—no off-leash time, careful door management, and safely fenced areas only. Extra precautions will be necessary until trust and confidence are established.

This terrier mix will do best in a calm, understanding home that can offer reassurance, structure, and love at their pace. With time, safety, and compassion, they have the potential to grow into a loyal and gentle companion.

They didn’t choose the life they came from—but they deserve a future where they are protected, understood, and finally feel safe.
