Meet Kookie — a sweet, playful girl with a heart that has already loved deeply. Kookie first came to stay with us through our compassion foster program, and during her time here, she completely stole the hearts of our staff. Her gentle spirit, goofy personality, and loving nature made her impossible not to adore.

Kookie’s previous mom loved her very much, and it was clear every day how special their bond was. Sadly, after her mom recently passed away, Kookie found herself searching for a new forever home through no fault of her own. While her world has changed, she still carries so much love, joy, and sweetness with her.

Kookie is the kind of dog who wants to be everyone’s friend once she feels comfortable. She’s playful, affectionate, and happiest when she’s surrounded by people who care for her. Because she likes to make sure everyone is a good fit, she’ll need to meet all people and dogs in the home before going home.

More than anything, Kookie deserves a family who will love her as fiercely as she has been loved before — and who will give this wonderful girl the fresh start and forever she deserves.
