Carrot

Sex: Female
Breed: Domestic Shorthair
Age: 4 years, 3 months

Meet Carrot ❤️ Some stories begin with heartbreak—but we believe the best chapters are still waiting to be written. Carrot came to us as part of a severe hoarding situation, where life was anything but easy. Living without the care, comfort, and attention every cat deserves left her unsure of the world and the people in it. When she first arrived, she wasn't in the best shape, but every day since has been another step toward healing. Now, with a full belly, a safe place to rest, and kind hands showing her that people can be trusted, Carrot is slowly discovering what it means to simply be a cat. Every curious glance, every tiny purr, every brave step forward is a victory worth celebrating. She may need a little extra patience as she continues to learn that love isn't something to fear—it's something to lean into. The lucky person who gives Carrot that chance won't just be adopting a cat; they'll be watching an incredible transformation unfold. There is nothing quite like earning the trust of an animal who has every reason to be cautious, only to see that trust blossom into a bond unlike any other. If you have a gentle heart, a little patience, and room in your home for a cat who deserves a fresh start, Carrot is ready to begin the happiest chapter of her life—with you.
