Meet Joules, a beautiful one-year-old mama who has already spent much of her young life taking care of everyone else. After raising her kittens and giving them all the love and attention they needed, this sweet girl is finally ready for something she deserves just as much—a home of her very own.

Joules is a gorgeous black cat with a gentle soul. She can be a little shy and easily startled, so she's looking for someone who understands that trust takes time. She may not be the first one to run up and say hello, but with patience, kindness, and a little consistency, Joules has the opportunity to blossom into a wonderful companion.

She's spent so much of her life being a mama that now it's her turn to be someone's baby.

Joules would do best with a family willing to let her set the pace. She doesn't need to be rushed or overwhelmed; she simply needs a safe space where she can learn that she's loved and that she doesn't have to worry anymore. Quiet moments, gentle interactions, and plenty of patience will go a long way with this special girl.

There is something incredibly endearing about watching a shy cat begin to feel comfortable. Every little step forward is a victory—the first time she chooses to come closer, the first relaxed nap in the open, the first head bump, and eventually the realization that she's finally home.
