Meet Ivy 💚🐾

Ivy is an affectionate, vocal girl who loves to connect with her people—on her own terms. She enjoys attention, companionship, and will happily “chat” with you throughout the day. She’s come out of her shell and isn’t as shy anymore, especially once she gets comfortable in her environment.
Ivy is still a bit sensitive and does best with a thoughtful, respectful approach. She appreciates a gentle “hello” and likes to choose when she’s ready for affection. She’s not a fan of being picked up and prefers to keep all four paws on the ground where she feels secure.
She’ll also need a little time to decompress in a new home and settle in at her own pace. Ivy has a curious side and can be a bit of a door dasher, so a mindful home that keeps her safely indoors is important.

One of Ivy’s cutest quirks is her playful, silly side — she loves to jump and bounce around like a little dolphin! 🐬 Those bursts of energy are equal parts hilarious and adorable, and they really show off her fun personality.

At times, Ivy can become a little overwhelmed by too much affection due to sensory sensitivity, so it’s important to read her cues and give her space when she needs it. Because of her sensitive nature, Ivy would do best in a calm home without small children.
