Ivy is an affectionate, vocal girl who loves to connect with her people—on her own terms. She enjoys attention, companionship, and will happily “chat” with you throughout the day.

Ivy is a bit sensitive and does best with a slow, patient approach. She prefers a gentle “hello” and likes to choose when she’s ready for affection. She’s not a fan of being picked up and appreciates having all four paws on the ground.

She’ll also need time to decompress in a new home and feel safe at her own pace. Ivy has a curious side and can be a bit of a door dasher, so a mindful home that keeps her safely indoors is important.

At times, Ivy can become a little overwhelmed by too much affection due to sensory sensitivity, so it’s important to read her cues and give her space when she needs it.

Because of her sensitive nature, Ivy would do best in a calm home without small children.
