Students and After School Groups
At 901 Leesburg Road (Onsite)
- 2 hour event led by 2+ HFW team members.
- Suggested Donation: Disposable items (Paper & TP rolls, empty kleenex boxes, soda bottle caps, printer paper box lids)
- Group Size: Up to 20 students/chaperones
- By appointment and availability. Please schedule a minimum 3 weeks in advance
- 1.5 hours of education/volunteering
- 30 minutes of hands on time with animals
*Please inquire for larger groups.
At Your Location (Offsite)
Option 1:
- Create kitten blankets or enrichment kits* for cats and dogs
- No donation required
- Your team lead coordinates supply pick-up and drop off and sets up activity space
- Can be done alongside our educational materials
- Pick-Up/Return Days: Tuesdays-Fridays (9-6) Saturdays (9-4)
*Enrichment kits are subject to availability must have access to a refrigerator and be dropped off within 24 hours
Option 2:
- Create kitten blankets or enrichment kits* for cats and dogs
- Donation: 2 week donation drive for items on HFW’s wishlist leading up to event
- Supplies provided for up to 20 students
- By appointment and availability
- HFW team member brings & returns supplies/donations and will assist with the event
- Blankets & enrichment kits are designed to be done in one hour
- Must be within 30 minutes of downtown Fort Wayne
*Enrichment kits are subject to availability
Corporate Groups
Humane Fort Wayne (Onsite)
- 2-4 hour event led by 2+ HFW team members at one of our 3 locations
- Donation: $20 per group member
- Minimum of 5 people
- By Appointment and Availability
- Please schedule a minimum of 3 weeks in advance
- 1.5+ hours of education/volunteering
- 30+ minutes of hands on time with animals
