Many of you may be familiar with our Angel Fund, which ensures that we’re able to provide critical care for shelter pets with extenuating medical needs (including things like heartworm treatment, broken bones, unexpected illnesses, emergency surgeries or extra support due to cruelty and neglect).
Generally, the financial reserves for this crucial fund come from dollars raised once a year at Pawject Runway. But due to COVID, we weren’t able to host Pawject this year. And up to this point, we’ve been fortunate.
Today, we have more extenuating medical cases in the building than we have in a very long time, and getting these sweet fur-kids the help they need won’t come cheap, and our Angel Fund is running low. At present, our staff is estimating that the cost to get Eloise, Lars, Duke, Stu, Judy, and Tusken treated, healed and ready for adoption will be no less than $10,000. Your lifesaving gift today (in any amount!) is appreciated!

Donate to the Angel Fund today!
Our professional staff tends to the needs of every animal that enters our shelter. These animals receive the care they need, including critical attention, if required.
Unfortunately, treatment costs for animals suffering from heartworm disease, broken bones, unexpected illnesses, emergency surgeries or just needing extra support due to cruelty and neglect can become expensive quickly.
Give animals the chance to be healthy, happy, and in forever homes by donating to our Angel Fund.
The Angel Fund acts as a money reserve for the animals that enter our shelter in dire need of tender love and medical attention. Your donation not only helps the animals currently in our care, but also creates lifesaving options for any future paws that walk through our doors.
