Subaru To The Rescue

Published: 06/01/2019

Transporting dogs to their FURever homes.

A lot of people know about Subaru’s commitment to animal welfare, but what a lot of people do not know is there are a lot of overpopulated shelters in the southern US that are struggling. The Allen County SPCA knew there was no better way to save animal lives than to rescue dogs in the backs of our Subarus!

In May 2019, we transported more than 70 dogs from the Montgomery County Animal Shelter in Conroe, TX to Fort Wayne, IN, and 45 were adopted to their furever homes on June 1, 2019 during our Subaru To The Rescue Adoption Event! The remaining dogs were adopted through the Allen County SPCA.
