Community Cat Assistance Application
Humane Fort Wayne offers a $45 walk-in Community Cat Package on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday each week at our clinic at 1333 Maycrest Drive. The package includes spay or neuter surgery, microchip, rabies vaccination, and mandatory ear-tip.
The true cost of this package to Humane Fort Wayne is $60. To keep our pricing as low as possible–consistent with other low-cost, high-volume clinics in our region–Humane Fort Wayne subsidizes more than 25% of the cost of Community Cat surgeries, allowing us to offer the package to our clients for just $45. As a result, we are unable to further reduce the cost of our Community Cat Package.
Financial Assistance
Pet Friendly Services of Indiana offers assistance in the form of spay/neuter certificates (also known as “SNAP,” or “SNSI” certificates), which we accept at our clinic, as do many other local veterinarians. To learn more, or to apply for assistance, visit: https://petfriendlyservices.org/
Trap-2-Get-1
While funding lasts, Humane Fort Wayne offers a “Trap-2-Get-1” package. Ask for your punch card at your first visit, and bring it with you each time you bring another community cat for surgery. We’ll punch your card for each cat, and every third cat will be free of charge!
Fort Wayne Animal Care & Control (FWACC)
If you’ve trapped a cat on a day our clinic doesn’t offer community cat services, or you’ve been turned away from our clinic due to capacity limits, FWACC may be able to help. Please contact them at (260) 427-1244 to learn more about what services you may qualify for as a Fort Wayne resident, as well as services offered to those residing outside city limits.
