Hello my name is Hank the Tank!!!
I am a lot of cat with a lot of love to give! I was brought in after sadly losing my owner with a pre-existing large wound on my side. My owner tried very hard but after years of treatments, it was getting worse. My friends at Humane Fort Wayne did not give up on me! They sent off a sample of my wound to a lab and confirmed it was Eosinophilic Granuloma Complex. This complex can be very complicated but is usually connected to an allergy. The goal is to determine the specifics of the allergy and lessen/stop the reaction. Through a lot of trials and medications it was discovered my allergies can only be controlled well by an allergy pill. I will need to go home on my medication that I take once a day and stay on flea preventative rear round. My friends at HFW will show you my meds and explain it all.
I don't mean to brag but I am everyone's favorite over at HFW. I love to head boop, talk, snuggle, and I am more agile than I look! I prefer to be the only cat, I am an attention hog, but I do like other chill canine companions. I shared my office at HFW with a human and a small dog some days.
We are so excited I am finally available and ready for my forever home. I have been through a lot but WOW does everyone here and all my fosters who helped me along the way think I am TOTALLY WORTH IT! Let me be your valentine. I give head boops.
*Hank cannot go home until potential adopters meet with Chelsea*
